Dr. Massa-Carroll is a bilingual (English & Spanish) Medical Prescribing Psychologist. She has over 20 years in the field of mental health starting her work with the U.S. Federal Government in 2001.  She has a National Board Certification {ASPPB: Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) and Certificate of Professional Qualification (CPQ)}. She is licensed under PSYPACT to practice tele-health across state lines.

She worked for the U.S. Federal Government, Department of Health & Human Services, Washington DC. She served as a Public Health Advisor for the Center for Mental Health Services (SAMHSA) and as a Social Scientist for the National Institute of Health (NICHD, Bethesda, MD).  She was a member of the DSM-5 Task Force and served as a clinician supporting the development of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition. She has worked across clinical settings from large teaching hospitals systems, inpatient units, university counseling centers and in private practice.

• The American Psychological Association (APA) nominated Dr. Massa-Carroll to represent psychologists in the USA and served as a AMA Guides Editorial Panel.

• The American Medical Association (AMA) appointed Dr. Massa-Carroll as a Editorial Panel member.  The AMA Guides to The Evaluation of Permanent Impairment is used to make determinations about medical outcome in the personal injury field. These determinations are used to make decisions about disability claims, and damages in malpractice, personal injury and worker compensation cases.

• The Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) appointed Dr. Massa-Carroll to be a member of the Job Analysis Task Force for the Psychopharmacology Examination for Psychologists (PEP). The PEP serves as the primary examination used by licensing boards as part of the requirements that specially trained psychologists must meet to obtain prescriptive authority in jurisdictions that have enacted laws granting it.   

Billing Information: We take ALL Workers Compensation Insurances. We do not take private health insurances or Self-Pay patients. Our fees are regulated by the State of Colorado (i.e., Medical Fee Schedule, Division Workers Compensation, Colorado Department of Labor & Employment)
